This was one of my favorite pictures of Ms. Janet Jackson from the mid 90s.  I loved it so much I decided to redraw it.

Humble beginnings

 

For years I have only used Photoshop but only when necessary I would not push my boundaries.  But recently I decided to go beyond my comfort zone try illustrating using this tool and I learned I still have a lot to learn.
Artistically I have been humbled but that is a good thing.
